Who has access to your data?

Here you can find out who we disclose your data to, what purpose this is for and how we protect your privacy at Viega. We only pass your personal data to third parties if:

  • We need to do this for business purposes, for example, when we give you the option of choosing among several payment service providers.
  • You have given your consent (for example, to the use of an external application).
  • We are obliged to by law, by a court or by an official body.

We only disclose your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for our own business purposes (in particular to provide the services that you have requested), if you have granted your consent or if we are obliged to do so by law, by a court or by an official body.

If we work with external service providers for the purposes of data processing, this generally takes the form of contract processing and we remain responsible for the data processing. We evaluate each of these service providers before the start of the contract and during the course of the contract to ensure that they take the appropriate data protection and data security measures. This enables us to comply with the statutory contractual regulations concerning the protection of personal data.

We only disclose your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for our own business purposes.

  • Companies in the Viega Group

    We disclose your information to other companies in the Viega Group to give you the best possible support, for example by providing services, making on-site visits, handling complaints and responding to your enquiries. We always follow our internal data protection regulations closely and only process your data for the purpose they were collected for.

  • Payment service providers

    If you use functions that you have to pay for, your payment data, such as your credit card and bank details, are processed by the payment service provider.

  • Third countries

    We only transfer data to third countries in accordance with statutory requirements. We only transfer your data to a third country if this is necessary in order to fulfil a contract, if you have explicitly granted your consent and if an adequacy decision in accordance with Article 45 GDPR or appropriate safeguards in accordance with Article 46 GDPR are in place.
